Eastleigh Lakeside
At Eastleigh Lakeside, we are fortunate to have access to the entire lake for our swimming activities. When you check in at the second pontoon, you’ll notice four yellow markers and one orange buoy in the lake.
For your safety, please use the provided matting to enter and exit the lake, as the concrete edges can be very slippery and may hurt your feet.
Half Loop (Blue) 150 metres: If it’s your first time with us or you’re not ready for the full loop, we offer a shorter half loop. The lifeguard on duty will be happy to show you the route.
To swim the half loop, start from the pontoon marked by the orange arrow. Swim diagonally to the fourth yellow marker, go around the outside, and return to the fifth marker. Keeping outside the buoys, swim towards the orange buoy or return to the front of the pontoon. You can repeat the half loop or move on to the full lap when you’re ready.
Full Loop (Orange) 350 metres: To swim the full loop, start at the orange buoy in front of the pontoon. Swim down the lake, following the outside of all the yellow marker buoys, and return to the orange buoy.
To exit on your final lap, swim from the fifth marker towards the pontoon. Please do not exit directly from the orange buoy, as this can cause collisions with oncoming swimmers during busy times
